Her Journey’s Just Begun
By Ellen Brenneman (modified)
We won't think of you as gone away
Your journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
We'll think of you as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
We know for us you are wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And now you'll go on living
in the hearts of those you touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and you are loved so much.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
